This Privacy Policy explains how Maamuus ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this application and website.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — your name and phone number (and email, if you provide one), used to create your account and process your orders.
• Order & payment details — the airtime/data plans you buy, the phone numbers you top up, and payment reference IDs. Payments are processed by mobile-money providers (e.g. EVC Plus, eDahab, Premier); we do not store your full payment credentials or PIN.
• App-usage analytics — an anonymous app/install identifier and which in-app screens you open, used only to understand how the app is used and to improve it. This does not include your location, contacts, photos, messages, or other personal device data.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the service and deliver the products you order.
• To process payments and confirm transactions.
• To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
• To send service-related notifications you have allowed.
• To improve the app's reliability, performance and ease of use.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is necessary with mobile-network carriers and payment providers to fulfil your orders, and where required by law.

4. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see section 6).

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS.

6. Your rights & account deletion

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can delete your account from the Account section inside the app, or request deletion from our public page at /account-deletion without signing in.

7. Children

This app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
